Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pinqio website, web application, and Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a legally binding contract. If you use Pinqio on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Account and security

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You must provide an accurate email address.
  • You agree to enable 2FA on the Pro and Teams plans if we require it for your role.
  • Notify us immediately at security@pinqio.comif you suspect unauthorized use.

3. What Pinqio is (and isn't)

Pinqio organizes LinkedIn direct messages that you personally send or receive through LinkedIn's own interface. Pinqio does not:

  • Send messages on your behalf.
  • Automate outreach, connection requests, or profile visits.
  • Scrape LinkedIn profiles in bulk.
  • Access your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn's API or sign in on your behalf.

Pinqio is a productivity layer on top of messaging you are already doing manually. Your use of LinkedIn remains governed by LinkedIn's User Agreement. You are responsible for complying with it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Pinqio to automate or simulate messaging on LinkedIn or any other network.
  • Scrape, mass-download, or resell Pinqio data.
  • Reverse-engineer the Chrome Extension or web app.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or abuse detection.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or harassing content.
  • Upload illegal or rights-infringing content.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Pinqio without our written consent.

Violations may result in suspension or termination with no refund.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

  • Paid plans (Pro, Teams) bill monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
  • Taxes are applied per your billing address. If you provide a valid VAT ID, we exclude VAT where permitted.
  • Upgrading mid-cycle pro-rates immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing. You keep access until period end.
  • Refunds: pro-rated refunds for annual cancellations within 14 days of purchase. No refunds otherwise unless required by law.
  • Failed payments: we retry automatically. After 3 failed attempts, access may be suspended until payment is fixed.

6. AI features

  • Pinqio routes AI prompts to third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). The provider may change per your Settings → AI.
  • AI output is generated probabilistically and may be wrong. Always review AI-drafted replies before sending them.
  • Plan caps on AI drafts per month are enforced server-side. You may upgrade at any time to raise your cap.

7. Intellectual property

  • Pinqio retains all rights in the Services, the source code, designs, and trademarks (Pinqio, the Pinqio logo).
  • You retain all rights in your content — conversations, notes, labels, and anything you upload.
  • By using Pinqio, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely to operate the Services.

8. Data, privacy, and security

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. For Teams plan customers, we offer a Data Processing Addendum.

9. Warranty disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor that AI output will be accurate or fit for any purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinqio's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid Pinqio in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Pinqio against any third-party claim arising from your violation of these Terms, including any violation of LinkedIn's User Agreement.

12. Termination

You may terminate anytime by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms with reasonable notice where practical. On termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Pinqio is incorporated. Any dispute is resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless binding arbitration is agreed.

14. Changes

We will post updates here. Material changes are emailed at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
